THANK YOU!!!
Kevin and I have been contemplating stopping the blog on the boy's 1st birthday. We were starting to feel like it is pretty boring for most of our awesome readers. Which is a good thing...we like boring. Boring means uneventful!!! :) However, when I read the comment from KH under the comments section of our last post...I felt a change of heart. KH, I will say lots of prayers for your little guy. Ben was in the 3rd percentile for most of the pregnancy and look him now!! He is small, but mighty!!! He is actually ahead in development and soooo active! My thought is, that babies who struggle in utero are born fighters!!! I can see it in Ben!! He is on a mission!! Both of my boys are fighters!! They are going to make their mark in this world...there is no doubt in my mind. Ok...I am bias!! I really believe that their strong will, will take them great places...as it will with your little fighter!! Please keep us posted! Like I mentioned earlier, reading your comment inspires me to continue the blog. While on bedrest, I inundated myself with positive stories that I read on the TTTS message board or other blogs. I loved reading success stories. Jake and Ben are now the ones to pass on this wonderful gift...the gift of HOPE!! :)
Update on our 3rd little peanut: He/she is doing really well! I am currently 13 weeks and feeling great. The endocrinologist is hopeful I will be able to lower my medication dosage soon. I am anxious to stop taking all of these drugs. I don't even like to take Tylenol while pregnant...let alone PTUS!!
We are starting to plan Jake & Ben's 1st birthday party. We are really excited! We are doing a baseball theme. Go figure!! We just can't believe this day is approaching soo0 fast! The boys are growing like weeds and taking off in development. They both are crawling (Jake does an army crawl thing still) and Ben is pulling to standing. They are doing lots of self-feeding and talking (babbling) up a storm! They talk to each other a lot too. It is really sweet.
Thanks again for being a part of our life and lending your support!
Danielle, Kevin, Jake, Ben & Baby K.!

I am so glad you decided to keep your blog, Danielle. I love keeping up with your boys. We both were on our journey together and it is so wonderful to see how your boys are doing (on a regular basis).

Glad to hear your pregnancy is going well. Sending lots of prayers your way.

Hello!!
I am VERY excited that you all decided to keep it going. It is one of the easiest ways to keep up with you guys & see how quickly they are growing up. I really hope to see you all soon!! Let me know if you are not too busy this coming weekend. I will be in the Sterling Heights area--Bobby is playing softball there. Maybe I can meet up with you all.
Love you!

I think keeping your blog is a great idea! It is always so nice to see how the boys, you and Kevin are doing. I am sure so many people enjoy keeping up with your family...especially those who live far away! Glad to hear the boys and Baby K are doing well! As they get bigger they start looking more and more a like. Hope things continue to go so well with your family!!!

Hello again!

Thank you for your kind words and prayers. It certainly sounds like there are plenty of people who are happy that your blog will continue! I concur!!

Since you asked, I have an update. AJ (short for Alan John - my Father-in-Law's and Dad's names) is doing great. He's now in the 5th percentile..woo hoo!! We gained a percentile point! They said he's almost 4 1/2 lbs and they expect him to be around 5 lbs at birth in 2 1/2 weeks.

All my NST's and Dopplers have been great so they don't know what's causing him to be so small. At our 20 wk ultrasound, he was in the 22nd percentile...It might just stay a mystery.

Oh well, as long as things keep going this well, I don't really care if there ever is an explaination. My first son (Cole) was 7lb 7oz at birth so he wasn't exactly huge either.

You were exactly right when you said that your story and your boys are a source of HOPE! That's the perfect way to describe them :) That's exactly what your experience has provided me with...Best of luck and thanks again for your prayers!

Hi guys,

You really have NO IDEA on how touched and happy I felt on reading your blog. As a matter of fact, we (my wife & I) discovered only a few hours back that our lovely twins suffer from TTTS and we have been extremely depressed since then! But yes, your wonderful boys - Ben and Jake, inspire in my heart, a lot of hope...and we are praying that our two li'l bundles of joy also wade thru' successfully and come out fighting!!!

Bless You...Need your Prayers!
Mark
