Those Darn Ants!

In light of my cinnamon post, my husband just reminded me of one more use for cinnamon. This summer we had a bad case of ants in our eating area. Instead of tradiational/poisonous ant control methods, we used cinnamon oil. It really worked! I purchased the oil and sprinkled it along the border of the porch area abutting our home. I also added it to a spray bottle and made a cinnamon oil/water mixture, which worked well. I would like to add that I did have to reapply several times throughout the summer, especially after a good rain. It was very effective and safe for the kiddies and animals.
